TEAM

Juan

Psicólogo revisará lo que nos cuentes

The Cute Mascot

Juan was trapped in a stress trap full of obligations, may of them self-imposed.

We all are or have been Juan.

He is our source of inspiration, we work for and because of him…

Juan is the boss.

Carmen Sánchez – Cofounder

The Psychologist

Carmen not only psychoanalyzes the rest of the team in all internal meetings, there are witnesses who claim to have seen her levitatate while doing meditation exercises.

With more than 15 years working as psychologist for individuals and companies, she brings the logic and science behind Happy Mind Me.

Carmen is clear about the goal: to democratize access to mental health care services, and her vision makes this more than just a business.

Ángel Garrido – Cofounder

The Product Manager

Se calls himself things like “Mr. Wolf” or “Multidisciplinary”, but Carmen says he’s a textbook Juan.

He created his first website in HTML code at the age of 15, and has since worked in multiple sectors, both in SMEs and large multinationals, which has given him a holistic view of how an organization works.

Besides being passionate about innovation and product development, he coordinates, designs, programs, and manages… he is the architect we need to grow sustainably.

Benjamin Alexander – Fullstack Developer

The Teach Lead

Ben is the digital architect behind HappyMind.me.

With expertise in JavaScript, React, Python, and Flask, he brings to life all the features and functionalities we come up with. His passion for problem-solving and continuous learning makes him an invaluable team member.

As a boxing enthusiast, Ben takes criticism like a champ, handling feedback constructively. Between lines of code, he also takes the opportunity to teach the rest of the team some English lessons.

Mery Álvarez – Fullstack Developer

The Architect of the Future

Mery doesn’t just code, she also mediates between reality and technology. Her life is a balance between building a WebApp and helping families find a home when they need it most. Full Stack Developer by day, mediator by night, her passion for socially impactful projects is what brought her to HappyMindMe.

She comes from Santa Marta, Colombia, but now she’s making her mark in Barcelona (while also dealing with her puppy, who is the real boss at home). She’s so immersed in code that she sometimes demands too much of herself, but here, she’s learning that perfection is the enemy of progress.

If you catch her watching The X-Files… no, it’s not a mistake, yes, there are still people who watch The X-Files. Currently, she’s focused on developing HappyMindMe’s future WebApp, always one step ahead and helping us envision what’s to come.
